Senior Accountant- Financial Reporting

As the Senior Accountant- Financial Reporting, you will be working for the Controllers team at our North American Headquarters in Cincinnati, OH and report to the Senior Manager- Financial Reporting. This position will assist in preparing financial statements to be reported to investors, board members and senior leadership of the company. 

Key Responsibilities of the position includes

  • Assist in preparing the financial statements and note disclosures for the quarterly and annual financial statements required for external reporting as directed by the Senior Manager Financial Reporting
  • Assist in preparing the disclosures and supporting schedules for Management Discussion and Analysis
  • Work to process, improve and automate financial statement disclosures and processes while maintaining strict internal controls framework.
  • Assist in the preparation of Monthly Management reporting to Senior Leadership Team.
  • Be a key point of contact with the auditors and provide explanations and key documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • CPA required
  • 3-6 years of public accounting experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS / US GAAP including technical accounting and reporting requirements.
  • Ability to work under very limited supervision with positive results.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills.
  • Ability to manage and organize work assignments, styles and relationships with several respective managers.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, change and ambiguity
