As a Parts Manager at First, you’ll direct the organization and profitability of the parts department serving Harford County fleet. Other job duties as Parts Manager include:

  • Supervise parts clerks
  • Manage parts inventory to ensure appropriate shop operation
  • Conduct routine physical inventories.
  • Interface with vendors and internal & external customers.
  • Lead cost reduction initiatives.
  • Handle parts warranty claims.
  • Compile computer-based reports.
  • Identify and recommend changes to build and maintain an exemplary quality parts facility.

Qualifications for a Parts Manager include:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of auto parts inventory experience; heavy equipment parts experience preferred.
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Strong computer and reporting skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
